The addon is not designed to be a quest- or tourguide, instead the goals are to provide an accurate in-game version of AoWoW or Wowhead. The vanilla version is powered by the database of VMaNGOS. The Burning Crusade version is using data from the CMaNGOS project with translations taken from MaNGOS Extras.
The database GUI allows you to bookmark and browse through all entries within the pfQuest database. It can be opened by a click on the pfQuest minimap icon or via /db show. The browser will show a maximum of 100 entries at once for each tab. Use your scrollwheel or press the up/down arrows to go up and down the list.

The tooltip will display quest information such as your current state on the quest (new, in progress, already done) as well as the quest objective text and the full quest description. In addition to that, the suggested level and the minimum level are shown.
Zygor Guides are the best and fastest way to level your characters in World of Warcraft and accomplish more in less time. Using our custom Guide Viewer addon our guides are displayed inside the game and use an optimized step by step format to tell you everything you need to do.
Finding where to go is made simple thanks to our 3D waypoint arrow that points you exactly in the right direction at all times and will even tell you the fastest directions to your location using hearthstones, flight paths, portals and more.
In order function optimally, the Zygor addon needs certain character specific data only a player can access, such as flight map data to provide better travel instructions, and profession data for the Gold Guide. The new Startup Orientation feature will walk you through synchronizing your character with the guides for the best experience possible.
RE: ChangelogSorry missed your question about changelog. Each update has a list of changes posted on the main page (www.wow-pro.com). You would have to scroll thru there to find older updates. Also each guide has a list of the changes as part of the header. The copy downloaded to your computer will only have the last few (10?) changes, but here on this website is the entire history of a guide files changes, under the revisions tab.
QuestHelper is one of the most popular AddOns, available at It shows you the shortest way to go to finish the quests you have. It considers how much time it takes to go from one place to another; and tells you if you should fly, take a ship, etc. Also, it will only tell you to go flying to some place if you already know the flight path.
QuestHelper will try to arrange the objectives so that higher priority objectives get done first. The only time this won't happen is when an objective with a higher priority depends on an objective with a lower priority, in which case QuestHelper will pretend it had the higher priority. You will notice a green arrow in the priority menu when QuestHelper isn't using the priority you assigned.
The last filter is done, which by default is off. It will hide objectives for any quests that aren't complete. You can use this if you don't want to quest and just want to turn your completed quests in.
Objective priorities are shared globally. If one user changes the priority of an objective, that change will be reflected in all peers. This, again, was done to ensure that everybody's routes end up being roughly identical, and so that peers would have the correct priorities for timed quests.
How can I get rid of that arrow over my character's head?/qh cartwp will hide the arrow. If you'd rather move it instead, you can drag it around by left-clicking; unless it's been locked, in which case right-click on it and unlock it first.
How do get that 3D arrow pointing where to go?That arrow is part of Cartographer Waypoints. It should appear automatically as long as Cartographer is installed and running, and you haven't turned off that feature.
The header is going to shrink down and become smaller, as seen with the photoshopped image on the right. The addon's previous and next buttons will go on a horizontal axis, the Joana portrait will shrink and only the head will show in it.
Questie - This is the biggest addon on my "must have" list because it does a lot of things. It will mark on the world map and mini map where things are done, shows quest givers and what quests are available. It will show you the progress of quests with other members in your party. It will show you quest objectives when you click on mobs.
This addon is very popular and many are already using it, you may already be using this yourself! This addon is highly recommended to be used along side my step-by-step leveling guides, both web guides and in-game guide addon.IMPORTANT: When used along with my leveling addon make sure Questie has the option in General - Auto Accept Quests to unchecked (off). Because my leveling addon has this built in that will only accept the quests you need and nothing more.TomTom - This addon shows you a waypoint arrow on your screen. This addon is required to be used along side my in-game guide addon to provide the waypoint arrows. So this is a must have addon to get!
IMPORTANT - RECOMMENDED SETTINGS: For my leveling addon, TomTom works best with the following settings changed: In General Options, put "Clear waypoint distance" at value of "0". In Waypoint Arrow settings, change "Arrival Distance" to a value of "0".
This addon also currently works with my web guides as well. Throughout my web guides are coordinate buttons that you press to copy TomTom coordinates to your clipboard, you then paste that into your chat inside the game to bring up a TomTom waypoint arrow to direct you exactly where to go.
So if you are using my guides (doesn't matter which version) then you should definitely get this!Moncai Compare - This simple addon will allow you to compare items without the need to hold down the shift key first. That's it. So simple yes so convenient. I do not see a reason why you would not want to use this!
Leatrix Maps - This will enhance your world map in many ways, the most important one allowing you to see unexplored areas, while still distinguishing between what you explored and haven't. Without this addon it can be hard to tell where you are going, especially if you are a new player.
Use /ltm in game to bring up its menu to configure it. Only thing I change is: turn off "Enlarge player arrow", uncheck "Show minimap button".Unexplored areas shaded out:tullaRange - This addon simply changes icon's color to let you know you are out of range of using those abilities/icons. I don't understand why this is not built into the game? I feel like this is a must have addon and I do not see a reason not to use it.
WeaponSwingTimer - This addon will let you see your weapon timers upon hitting enemies. This addon can improve your efficiency by allowing you to know exactly when your weapons will be hitting enemies. I use this all the time. This is espeically useful for hunter with auto-shot.
Please note that for SoM you need to use the TBC version for this to work (as of February 2022).JoanasHealthText (direct download) - This is a very simple addon that I requested for myself. All it does is simply show your current health value on the screen and it can be dragged anywhere.
I wanted this made for several reasons. I do like seeing my health value on screen as a number because it lets me know how many hits or blows it would take to kill me in a given situation. In such to warn me if I need to drink a potion or something. Blizzard does have a built in mechanism to show these values but it covers up the health/mana bars making them harder to see. Seeing max health and mana values are unnecessary in my opinion, same with current mana value to a lesser extent.UnitScan - This is a much more powerful way of using the /target (/tar) command. When you type in game: /unitscan NPC NAME, it will then sound alert you when that NPC is within your view in-game and even put a green arrow above his head showing you where that NPC is at exactly, even if that NPC is behind a wall.
Although this addon is slightly clunky and I wish it had some more features. In order to turn off an NPC for it you have to type that same command again to disable it for the given NPC. But this does come in handy for many situations.SpeedrunSplits - This one is specifically for speedruners who like to see exactly what times they are getting after every level compared to previous speedruns. This is sort of like a timer split program most speedrunner you see using on Twitch, but this is built inside the game as an addon.
As you can see, I don't use too many addons, but this list here is some I cannot live without when it comes to speed leveling. Feel free to discuss down below in the comments if you feel like an addon not listed here helps you with speed leveling, or any other questions about an addon listed here..
Carbonite Quest is part of a larger software package. Blizzard added its own internal quest tracking function in Wrath of the Lich King. This add-on has several useful features that its nearest competitor, quest helper, does not.
One of the least useful features in this add-on is the group quest tracking feature. Carbonite lists group quests on a different panel in the quest window. A user can see how close other players in his group are to completing the quest, just as he can by using the standard interface.
Carbonite does not greatly extend the usefulness of the original quest journal, but it does offer one useful feature not found in the Blizzard quest log. Users can click on the quest and get details. Carbonite breaks down multi-part quests into their different parts and can tell the player which one they are on.
When a player clicks on a quest in his quest log list list, the description of the mission is given in a separate panel next to the window. Getting the name of a quest and the description of a quest is a two-step process with the built-in quest log. Normally, a player must bring up the journal again to look for details on a different mission. This feature may only save a few key strokes for a player, but there are times when saving a few seconds makes a difference. 2ff7e9595c
